  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, whisk, set aside.

  1. Combine the wet ingredients in a second bowl — add the butter last, slowly while whisking.

  1. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until just combined.

  1. Fry in a pan with butter. Top with maple syrup and devour.
