Thinking in Systems by Donella Meadows

Thinking in Systems is a good introduction to the idea of systems. As I understand it, systems thinking considers the world in terms of interlocking components, emergent properties, and the goal of the sum of those components. Now that I’ve read this book, I really want to read a book on systems biology—I recognize motifs in systems diagrams from biological network diagrams.
